Harrell is attempting to take the church beyond the origins debate to thinking about the wonderfully elegant confluence of Christian theology and evolution. My experience went like this. First, I became "open to the possibility" of Darwinism. Then, thinking suppositionally, I put the pieces of a Biblical Christian Evolution paradigm together. Finally, I was able to accept the overwhelming evidence for evolution, because I had already worked through the theology. If Harrell is successful in taking Christians through such a process, he will be far more successful than those of us who occasionally beat on the church with the club of evolution. That is, if any besides Evolutionary Creationists read it! Let us hope.Cliff Martinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08342566023774158670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4948885059517209129.post-12790086391277946182008-10-24T11:11:00.000-07:002008-10-24T11:11:00.000-07:00Thanks for the book mention, and the link to anoth...Thanks for the book mention, and the link to another.
